The Battle of Corellia - The Movie!
Almost makes me want to replay The Movies.... again...
After months and months of trying to figure this out, I've just discovered that Windows Media Edition apparantly does not support Windows Media Player Plugins.
From mozilla faq: "Windows XP Media Centre Edition does not come with the Windows Media Player plug-ins. In addition, often it appears incapable of supporting them so just restoring the dll files may not work, and the installer for the plug-ins does not recognise XP Media Centre Edition."
Super duper gang.
Alas, I can not watch the video.

Not yet, he doesn't have the people to do the dialogue. You kind of have to just guess. Good, detailed knowledge of the Coalition helps as well.
I only care about myself, so..
After finding this movie in my files I felt the need to bump it again. Then it occured to me that it's been so long and the cast of TRF has changed so much that this battle might be entirely unknown to many viewers. Allow me then to offer a quick explination to go along with the film.
The white-haired man in the dashing red, white, and blue military uniform is Joren Arden, briefly the leader of the Mon Calamari Republic and the Coalition. The blonde in the red trenchcoat is Jan Dondana, the Coalition commander at Corellia. The alien you see writing his memoire at the very start is Regrad, who commanded a second fleet at Corellia that arrived only after the battle.
On the Imperial side, the Darth Vader look-alike is Emperor Hyfe. The sallow-cheeked old man in black is Simon Kaine. The monocled man with the breastplate is Telan. The woman in the space-age business suit is Drayson. The old guy in white who laughs with Kaine is Zell. The bald man in black who does all the ninja moves is Lupercus the Sith master.
Simply put, the movie goes like this: First is the declaration of war where Joren Arden and his various fellow leaders (Regrad, Jan, some dude) declare they're going to war with the Empire. The Empire meets to talk strategy, with the Emperor giving Simon Kaine overall command of the war. Jan and Regrad, the two being in command of the main fleet sent to Corellia, meet and exchange pleasantries before boarding their ships.
Jan goes in first. We see some scenes of him and his men just to spice up the later combat scenes. Next, Simon takes command of his ship from his old comrade Zell and we see a roll-call of Imperials, including Lupercus's Sith/ninjas. What follows is a quick space battle between Jan and the various Imperial ambushers.
The Sith quickly board Jan's ship and there's all manner of fighting inside. Regrad is still too far away to help, so Jan and his crew are stranded. There's some fighting and eventually the good guys bite the dust. Jan is captured and the ship destroyed.
Regrad shows up and Simon gives the whole villain monologue. Regrad thinks about it and decides to surrender. Jan weeps like a little girl.
With the war over, a montage of aftermath shots follow - Regrad's ascension to Prime Minister, Joren Arden's capture, Jan's new position as Minister of Defense, the rising Black Dragon threat. The movie ends with Regrad finishing his memoire and rising to order the fleet into the next battle.
There you go. Lots of dramatic license was taken, obviously. Less so than 300, moreso than the History channel. It was fun! :D
