Taja, rubbing alcohol and peroxide works wonders.. meh... especially before letting anything involving your skin get to the point where it can be described as 'rot'
and I know several people with self done tattoos and they all came out, although I can't tell you step by step what they did.. my uncle had a prison tat he got of a tiger in some grasses and it never went away either...
also, since it seems the type of thing you'd enjoy, Taj, you can get great results using a pencil eraser and just... erasing layers of skin off to make a rather permanent mark on you skin.. used to be popular with a group I hung in when I was alot younger. But that depends on how easily you scar.... if your skin is rather tough, it isn't permanent.
just get it done the right way and go to a certified tattoo artist. i mean seriously, this fucking ink is going to follow you to the grave so it better look damn good and have a good reason behind it.
I got myself inked up with the amnesty logo on my right arm about a month ago, and am trying to figure out whether or not I'm too much of a pussy to get this one done on my other arm.
There's no doubt that getting a tattoo hurts to some degree, but it hurts more for some than it does for others. Depends on your own pain threshold.
the area of my back is being reserved for my family code of arms. of course, the tattoo costs 1,400 to get... so it'll be awhile. and looking at what your thinking of getting, maybe 800 to 1000.
Yeah, I know that now. Unfortunately, getting pierced in Dhaka, where there are no licensed studios or people to give you advice, didn't help my situation much. x.o
I probably didn't cut deep enough initially. I didn't have a scalpel or anything similar at the time, so there weren't many tools I could use that would carve deep, but not wide. I'm also not sure what (if anything) I need to use in order to make sure the ink doesn't wash out completely.
I just tried this a couple of nights ago actually, and holy eff it takes forever ! Not only that, but it's not really possible to get any intricate patterns or designs done, since it all depends on the size of the eraser (and how long you rub for, bah). If you're after a mark like that, you're better off using a scalpel or something similar.
Must say though, the eraser did leave a very "neat" mark, ahah.
Maybe this should be called the 'Are you Morbid?' thread? *laughs*
Personally, I could think of no good reason, at all, to cut at myself with a scalpel or rub off my flesh. I am quite happy with my various layers of skin in their current, acned state thank-you ;)
Id like to get a small dragon on one of my shoulders, and a rose on the other.
Ive had piercings, but only my ear lobes. Gave up on those, since they always end up infected anyways, no matter how many times I follow the instructions exactly as given.
But Id like a couple of tatoos though. Maybe an eyebrow ring or tongue stud.
