Ok I'll clarify...it wasn't so much the 'size' of the icons but the fact that there is an icon that symbolizes 'read' forums now.

Something like this, but more style done to the actual threads. Replies separated into bordered tables, etc..

Hopefully they'll get around to adding CSS support. Should be too hard, just give everything a class name.
