Some interesting new excerpts in there that tie up a lot of loose ends, at least from my point of view. Technical aspects, anyways.

Expanded to include Clone Wars and NJO, plus Dark Nest. One excerpt from the Clone Wars describes a massive engagement in which Jan Dodonna and Screed lead two big fleets of Victory Star Destroyers against a massive force of Techno-Union Bulwark class Battlecruisers. Another excerpt describes the fate of the weapons testbed EX-F, and so on.

Got it for my Birthday. Its pretty good so far.

I noted that battle too.... but I didn't think it was actually the Bulwark we know from Rebellion (unless Bulwarks are only 1 kilometer long)...


Still, interesting read so far.

All the new Essential Guides look pretty darn nice to me.

Well, I think it's a good chance that these are the Bulwarks seen in Rebellion. Remember, they weren't that long, but had colossal height, and were bristling with turbolasers and ion cannons powerful enough to crush a blockading fleet of Venator class Destroyers. They even gave the Victorys a hard fight, as evidence of Screed being wounded and requiring the mechanical face replacements.
