Dolash, firewalls are excellent for protecting your computer from viruses and the like, but its hell when trying to play computer games. For most games you have to run around opening ports in order for them to be able to function in sync with the firewall.

I just use Windows XP's integrated firewall. But then, I have dial-up so I'm at a lower risk of being probed than say, a DSL or Cable user.

I scoff at dial-up.
