Stargate sucks. It's entirely too predictable and ... meh. Sometimes it's cool, but the rest of the time it's just bad. Farscape is much, much better.
A SW anime styled after Titan AE or the first anime bit from Kill Bill I would be neat, I guess. I'd rather we had something styled after that new Battlestar Galactica show, though. Something with real space battles.

I really didn't see why people liked Kill Bill... lines were corny, fighting was corny, and it was beyond any sense of realism. Not to mention watching wuts-her-name kill the same chronie three times. Could they not afford extras I mean come on.

Yeah but that's the point. Quentin Tarantino did a genre flick; he blended about thirty recognizable genres together, distilled them all to their essence and weaved them together with laudable storytelling. It was also, if you cared to notice, brilliantly shot.
I mean, you're right, the lines were corny, and so was the fighting, and it was totally unrealistic. But it was obviously meant to be all of those things. It's as if you went to a Klan rally, put up your hand and meekly said, "Excuse me, sir, but some of those comments were a tad racist."

That wasn't my point. I was wondering why people enjoy watching it... its not funny either. Its just... trying to make the worst movie you possibly can.

Then what was your point. You made some comments... Theren pointed out that yes, you're right, but that was done on purpose. Kill Bill is supposed to be like that. You're only looking at the surface of it.

You are just like to try and cause conflict, sorry but I am too tired for that.

If I wanted to cause conflict, I'd call you a sack of horse shit that's been sitting to long in the sun and be done with it. I'm trying to make you look past the surface of things and take a minute to think on them.

I love Stargate... it's so unusual for an actor to rise above a role that is so recognizably them and become something else, all the while making it believeable... I'm a Richard Dean Anderson fan :b
Farscape? Meh, didn't like it. Didn't think it was worth the hype. Any show that you miss an episode of and can become totally lost in the storyline sucks.... Firefly was better than Farscape and it didn't last even half as long. Now Lexx... Lexx is a darn good scifi show. Tons of human and weirdness there.
