Well I just finished reading the book, and holy shit. It starts off kind of slow and weak, but by the time I was finished reading it, definitly one of the better Star Wars books I've ever read. I'd definitly recommend it to being bought.

(((SPOILERS)))

Ok, I'm going to tell about the end of the book, and basically what happens is that Dark Lady Lumiya, the second in command of some Sith spirit that's manipulating her, lures Jacen to her lair. Accompanying Jacen is Ben Skywalker and Nenila, Jacen's rival when he was training to become a Jedi. Lumiya talks to Jacen, and seduces him to become a Dark Lord of the Sith. Jacen accepts, and his first act is to slay Nenila, otherwise she would have told that Jacen had fallen. And thus Jacen becomes a Dark Lord of the Sith, and as I now know, is the Darth Vader like opponent that Luke worries about. At the end of the book, Jacen, transporting the hurt Ben while telling him lies about what happened, doing memory rubs, etc., is heading back to Coruscant.

In the meantime, The Galatic Alliance tries to make a show of force to pull the Corellians inline, but the plan goes awry, and the Naval Admiral of the GA force ends up launching a planetery assault and capturing Tralus. But anyways, thanks to assistance from Han Solo, Wedge Antillies, and Leia Solo, the Corellian forces manage to recapture the planet, and the GA fleet, whose among the starfighter pilots there, include Jaina Solo and Syal Antillies, withdraws.

Very interesting book.

On Hold at the local Bookstore for me. I managed to skip the Spoilers part. Looks to be a good read, even in hardcover.

Only Just finished reading this book and well and truly enjoyed, cant wait for the second part. Had a feeling that the betrayal was gonna involve something to do with Jacen turning evil though, he seemed alot more malovent in the book then he ever has before. Defo a good read.
