Venom doesn't have control of Parker? Its the symbiote suit that does. And no if they are following canon Harry will be Green Goblin 2.
Spider-Man 3
That's what I meant about Venom, Circe. Been a long time since I watched the cartoon and that. Don't really remember much of it. Who was the Hob Goblin?
I can't remember, but Hobgoblin loathed the King Pin from what I remember.
But yes, this is indeed based off the Ultimate Spiderman if Eddie Brock is a small guy because in Ultimate he is. I prefer the Amazing Spiderman personally.

Isn’t Kirsten Dunst supposed to die some time?
Hobgoblin was Roderick Kingsley according to Wikipedia and it says he was the only Hobgoblin having escaped prison to kill an impersonator. And no I don't think they kill her off, but rather Gwen Stacy.
Kirsten's character never died in any of the stories. She disappeared for a long time but she never died.
Yes but remember: This is a movie.
After all, with Batman, the Joker never died (well, unless you got to some off-shot plots but alternate universes don't count) but guess what happens in the first Batman movie they made?
But yes, if we go by traditional Amazing Spiderman, MJ dissapeared for a long time and Harry became the second green goblin when the original one got lost in a cross dimensional rift! But they could always change it for the movies for the movies aren't the comic books.
And even with the comic books they always change things. (Damn retconning)

The Joker committed suicide in The Dark Knight Returns in an attempt to frame Batsy. Many people consider TDKR to be one of the best Batman comics ever.
Ya that was a great series. I prefer HUSH though. Killer set up for the series that followed.
Hobgoblin is completely unrelated to Green Goblin, in the sense that the vigilante tried being a heroic icon, as opposed to a villain; but sadly due to the past actions of the Green Goblin, this didn't go down well and he was stereotyped, which kind of made the guy just phase out when he realized things wouldn't work. I'm not quite sure who it was, exactly, but I don't think it was Harry or Norman, anyway.
As for Eddie, perhaps they've gone with the Ultimate Spider-man feel; where he's a kid who gets the alien suit, which scientists have been working on (with no history with Pete at all)? In that series Eddie is a little shrimp, anyway.
