should find this funny... especially Gash I think..

Some kid took two Nickelback songs and played them at the same time. They are eerily similiar.. in fact, I find it funny how alike the songs are and it's really hard to tell the music apart.

It's inevitable that one band would produce songs that are similar, but I agree, it is weird how they go into a chorus, into a verse, etc, at almost exactly the same time on both tracks.

I heard that a little while ago. It's sad that it sounds better mixed like that.

As an aside, the tempo was apparently upped on one of the tracks ('Someday' I think), so they aren't totally identical... but pretty close.

I don't make much of the fact that they're singing at the same time in both songs... I mean, if you play any two 3-odd minute punk/pop songs together, it's invetible that their verses and choruses will happen at fairily similar timings...

However, it is fairily eerie how the music melds together so easily. But I suppose that with one band which plays almost entirely simple melodies, if you stack them you'll get a nicer, more complex but still fitting tune.

I'm sure there are other bands that you could do the same thing with that are "better", but (of course) there are also bands where you could take two songs and have them sound totally different.

It depends on the songs, and the band, but I'm sure almost any band has at least two similar-sounding songs.
