tis cool, I'm not going any where :)
We went through all our comics this weekend and out of what we have, there's five boxes of Marvel, two and a half of DC, a half each of Valiant, Dark Horse and Image, then 3 boxes of independants... And a nice pile of ones that won't fit in the boxes because we finally went through the ones we had stored on some book shelves... We're putting off sorting the Marvel into titles last, since there's so many..
Teenage Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters has been the weirdest title I've found so far
Priced all the Star Wars and it's a nice little collection of them. With the various The Crows we have, it's a good bit of change for them. I started pricing some last night and I did those first since they were all together and easy to find.
It's a little hard to price some of our stuff since apparently Archie went to more than one convention back in the day. He has a bunch of them signed by either the artist or the writer, and in some places both, but the price guides don't have any way to gauge signatures. And he has a random assortment of what is signed. There's some independants but then he has a couple signed Superman's, some X-men, and a couple other mainstream ones. He's got a McFarlane signature and more than one Joe Jusko. But it all depends on what the artist or writer is doing now for what his sig is worth.
I was quite proud that my Firefly Serenity book I bought went from 9 dollars to twenty. It's rare for me to find something that has doubled in price so I was happy about that :)
So far are pricest comic has been a random Beatles Yellow Submarine that Archie found in a $1 grab bag.
