Hotmail is a whore. A dirty, rotten whore. But it is the leading email program (among young Canadians, anyway), and so everyone uses it. And if you want to talk to people on messenger, you need a hotmail account.

If there's a monopoly lawsuit I doubt it'll be against Gmail. Gmail may corner the nerd market overnight but Microsoft still shits edible gold in the eyes of most.

You can't give invites away these days. This so-called closed beta is a farce, everyone I know has a gmail account, and they all have 6 invites to give away.

Just do the math. It only takes like a 5th party to have given out thousands of accounts. I think.

They really do try to sell these things on ebay though for like $.99.
