Well you go Kose.

This game gets a "meh"
Granted, I'm still on geonosis, but the game's been pretty linear thus far.

The game itself Xion is pretty damn cool, the single player campaign I mean. But when you start playing Multiplayer that's when I got thoroughly disappointed. Going from playing Halo 2 to that... it was ugly.
How bad is the multiplayer function? Micheal Moore in spandex bad... on a saopbox?
It's pretty bad, especially if you've played a good FPS multiplayer. After playing Halo 2 I love Matchmaking, there's nothing that even resembles Matchmaking in Commando. Players are not penalized whatsoever for leaving in the middle of games, so they do, quite often. There is no method whatsoever to balance teams, anyone can join whichever team they choose no matter how many players are already on the team.
Figuring out who is actually on your team and isn't is also loads of fun since the opposing teams don't have silly things like different colors or anything stupid like that.
I love the Campaign mode, it's fun, it's challenging, and when I first got the game I couldn't even pull myself away from it to try out the online mode. But finally after hours of playing I went online and started playing. I think I played 2 games, the first one was me vs. this other guy, then a few other people showed up so there was like 7 people on the other team and 2 people on my team. After that I played one more game and the other people on my team wanted to group up and play a few more but I couldn't even stomach myself through another game.

The gameplay needs serious tweaking, but it still has waves upon waves of enemies to waste your ammo against, which is definately a core element of any decent FPS.
I do love the squad stuff, even if they doesn't quite seem that they've squeezed the right amount of juice out of it. There'sa certain satisfaction to be gained when your team carries out thier manouvers, like clearing a doorway.
The animations are just so crisp and real.
I got a little bored when I had to empty nearly half of my measly ammo clip from my blaster to take down a super battle droid only to be confronted by another two down the hall.

Play Counterstrike: Source.
Buy me a better graphics card.
Playing further, the game isnt that bad. One the second level I at least got a gun that felt like it had some weight to it . . . and the atmosphere draws you in, detracting from the crappyness of some other of the game's elements.
