Photoshop CS question

I just got a copy of this software, and I'm giving it its maden voyage now. I have a large, multi-layer multi-effect laden image that I made in Fireworks. I've exported it to Photoshop, and now I'm trying to get it to look like it did before. Many filters and such didn't make it over, so I'm working on getting some of them back.

The problem, right now, is that I can't figure out how to non-destructivly add filters to vector images. I've added noise, and then motion blur to a vector image, but now I want to tweak its appearance, and I can't figure out how to do it without having to go back through the vector image's history, and undo all my changes (I love that feature, btw! Per-object undo, wonderful feature I'm already loving.)

Any help? :D I'll probably find it before anyone can post, but after that we can all trade tips. I'm begining to get a feel for the power of this program, and I like how its interface is so much more lightweight than Firework's is... Hmmm, what does that option do...

Now, by non-destructivly, does one mean adding effects while still retaining the vector format? Not having to flatten them?

Heh, I'm just realising the power of fireworks after using photoshop for so long.

By Non-Destructivly, I mean adding the effect(s), and being able to go back later and tweak the properties of each and every effect you added, shift the order in which the effects are applied to the image, while still maintaining the vector-based format.

Hmmm, I wouldn't know the answer to that off hand.

Heh.
