So here I am looking for a palm-top unit. As I'm not a pre-PDA kinda guy here, about to bust my roseypalm cherry; I'm looking for suggestions.

I'm aiming for a midrange device with a few requirments aside from all the usual bells and whistles.

I want Wifi & Bluetooth connectivity built in. I don't want to pack around a bunch of junk (cards etc) any more then I really have to. As well as the standard IR and USB ports.

Compare to Palm Zire 72
& Sony Clie

What are you going to use it for? Most people who I know who own palmtop devices either need them for scheduling, or want them for bling. The expensive devices purchased by the latter tend to end up as paperweights.

Multi-media.

Video and audio playback (music and eps).

Instant Messaging & Email

Planning, tracking, financial records...

Mobile data transfer unit.

Work-ready Wifi/Bluetooth device that will run on our local network.

You name it, really.

I had a Palm... sold it for $20. :) Glad to have the $20 instead of the Palm, too.
