Old Republic
Is this still the MMORPG? It looks very cool but I don't have the kind of money/time needed for a MMORPG.
A nice cinematic, that much is certain. Still too early to tell much though. I did hear they plan to voice every NPC's line, as well as your own character's lines. Ambitious as hell (it'd be the largest video game voice project in history), but if they pulled it off...
You want to know why I suck? Because if it's not on console, I don't consider it a game. Death to the world of PC gaming!
Also, PC gaming is a gateway drug... it invariably leads to MMORPG'ing. Which is like: This is your life, this is your life on MMO's.

True, Beff. Very true.
I wish they'd just make a movie using those graphics rather than Clone Wars..
Honestly, if they made a KotOR 3 I'd buy it.
This, not a chance. I'm not paying per month to play a game. I've even cancelled my WoW account. Economics-wise:
$15/month
12 months
$180/year
I'm sorry, but that is way too much to pay for a game when I get nothing in return for it except a bunch of wasted time.

The argument can be made that such time is not "wasted", however; if those paying for and using said time find it to be a worthwhile expense. Perhaps a more correct way of phrasing the same statement would be to say that you, personally, consider it a waste.
Me too.
Me too.
If you want it, you can find the conclusion to KOTOR2 in this game. I heard that it's hidden for those who know what to look for, and to avoid confusing non-KOTOR players.
Beff, when I say wasted I mean that you get nothing substantial in return for your time.
Compare an MMORPG with, for example, writing here. On an MMO, you run around and do the same thing over and over again, albeit with some variations, but at the end of the time, all you have done is entertained yourself and, perhaps, neglected some responsibility you had.
On TRF, while you spend time and energy in essence both entertaining yourself and others, when you have finished a post you have accomplished something, and you have a written work of some quality (hopefully) to show for it. Additionally, you have actually used your brain, possibly expanded your vocabulary, and created a work of art.
Not to mention that those games are so addictive that you end up spending hours on them, hours more than you would spend on a standard single-player game.
And then we get into the cost again...how many of you would actually spend $180 on a single game? Or even patches for a game?
