It wouldn't be a bad idea to try it out for a month or two.
In my experience, most single-player games lose their appeal after a month anyway.
You never know, you may find a gem and decide not only to pay for additional months, but spend the rest of your life playing it in a dark cellar. That's the dream...
I disagree with the reviewer on the first part. Such high quality should be not only expected, but demanded. Too many crappy games are out there these days.
But yeah, from what I've heard WoW is supposed to be good. Not my kind of game though.
Yeah like for example Lord of the Rings, the RTS Game, War of the Ring, sure, it had the classic units, but they just slapped it on the AOE engine, and sure, while you got to play with some units, it wasn't nearly on the scale of which what was shown in the movies. Now if they had based it on the Cossacks or Total War RTS engine, then that would have been an awesome game.
