I ripped these off of Eurogamer.net. Looks like "Nintendo DS" is going to be the official title.

I'm a little split on this issue. I love how they stuck with a wide format, because I still use the origional GBA design (big hands). I love the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Voice recognition, Touch screen, but I really don't know about the dual-screen thing.

Now, if they turned that entire top flap into one big touch screen, then I would get excited. That would be awesome.

If I wanted to play games on the go, I'd buy a laptop.

Handhelds should quit aspiring to be bigger, and stay in thier niche.

I bring my GBA with me all the time. It's very handy for waits and long road trips. What I really like about the DS is the wireless gameplay, no more bulky cord to haul around.

Yeah, and Ren, I'd like to see a laptop get 12 hours of gameplay off of two AA batteries. :)

While this new... thing looks quite promising, what exactly is the point of having two screens again?

It's like a mini laptop, whose keyboard has been replaced by another screen. If I had to choose between a laptop and this... laptop lookalike, I would totally take the laptop. :p

but 12 hours off of 2 aa's? Impressive. I remember game gear took 6 and you were lucky to get only a few hours....

Well, the PSP may have serious battery issues. It's got that big, high resolution screen, a monster CPU, and a mini CD drive. For a portable battery time is paramount.

OS: The DS is probably going to be marginally bigger than the current GBA, which is only about eight inches wide.

Yeah, the gamegear was ahead of its time in all but battery life.
