They (finally) released the trailer for the Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
www.apple.com/trailers/ne...oftheking/It's gonna be the best one of the three, they say. And it certainly looks it. The movie comes out in North America December 17 (yay!).

Just because it's not in the trailer doesn't mean it isn't there...
But then, it probably isn't. And from a movie standpoint, that makes sense. The Battle of Plennor fields is the real climax of the series; the Scouring would take away from a film.

Anyway... I never much cared for that part, anyway. I liked the part were I thoguht the book was over, after the big climatic battle.

PJ says in the audio commentary on Fellowship that they cut out the Scouring of the Shire.
What this makes me wonder is {Spoiler} how they're going to kill Saruman. Any thoughts?
