I collect, but I don't play. Mainly because nobody else I know collects.

heh, I been playing for like 7 years now, got a ton of cards. My buddy has a week or so off, so he drove down from whatever military base hes staying at in Virginia (Marine) and came down here. First night back me, him and four other people had a big tourney. Its a popular game!

I was thinkin of starting a little mini-board for some Magic fun, maybe a RP Card game hybrid or just flat out moderated post card gaming....

I used to play/collect. But I stopped when the number of card expansions reached idiotic levels. They must be on their one thousandish expansion by now...

They expand when the books come out... not really all that idiotic, just a combination of events that happened in the books put to card.

In my personal opinion, the Onslaught cycle is the best set to read. The books included in this cycle are 1. Onslaught 2. Legions (faviort) 3.Scourge. Acourse there are newer cycles, but none that matches up to this.

When I lived in Maryland--oh so long ago--I was 14th in the 12 and under category. The only times I play anymore is in band when I am owning some poor nerd.

Think of it as mature Pokemon.
