Yeah , well I am....

The smoke is covering virtually all of london atm, (at least from above, we're not choking on fumes, at least, not yet)

It is like the biggest explosion in Europe since the second World war!??

The blast itself measured 2.6 on the Richter scale, and apparently it was heard all the way in Holland.

Yet, miraculously no-one was killed.

Really strange.

Don't know whats caused it as yet.

Damn that's an impressive blast, impressive and horrifying at the same time. It is a damn miracle if no one was killed, but I bet there are many injuries from the shock waves, etc. Must of been like a nuclear blast considering how those trees were flattened and those cars were thrown/burned out near the proximity of the depot.

Glad to hear no one was killed....be curious to find out what 'caused' the explosion though. Not trying to suggest it was terrorism, but unfortunately in this day and age that is almost always a possibility....

I love how the first word that pops into everyone's minds when something like this happens is "TERRORIST !" There's no such thing as an accident anymore. Heck, next time my oven does something funny, I'll just go ahead and file a terrorism complaint, too.

well, considering the explosion came just one day after one of the Al Queda leaders made a speech on TV about how they needed to start targeting places just like that very one, it's a little hard to ignore the whole possible terrorist links

There you go, Taj. Blame your cooking on terrorists.

I heard something about it being the fault of an employee at some oil thing.

Yeah things like these happen all the time. When I was on vacation a few months ago up north I remember hearing and seeing a CNN report where a chemical storage place in St. Louis was erupting barrel after barrel. It was kind of like a fireworks display, only explosions were shooting into the air not fireworks. Although with the kind of explosion reported it would probably be more comparable to that Rocket Factory explosion out west several years ago that I remember seeing on World's Most Amazing Videos.
