No, I graduated from H-school about 3 years ago. I'm working as a security guard now.

And to inform everyone else, there was an incident near a high school in Lakeland where two deputies were shot, and the school was put in lock down mode as they searched for the shooter.

I just read about it. Freaky.

Update - -a k9 unit was also killed. The Deputies from the Sheriff's Office are currently in the hospital.

Yeah. A Lakeland police officer was shot in the leg, and a K-9 handler and his dog were both shot and killed. They've apprehended someone who pretty much resembles the man described earlier, except for the shorts he was wearing. He was caught jumping the fence from the woods into the High School grounds and was apprehended on the Baseball field. The officer that was killed was a regular at a barber shop I go to, and I was there getting a haircut when the officer's name and picture was released. :(

EDIT: Person apprehended was not suspect, just some blockheaded high school student closely matching the description that was defying lockdown and trying to run home.

I heard about the blockhead.. how stupid... you've been hearing them blast this guys description for about four hours, you match it closely, yet instead of staying in the school and leaving with everyone else, you hike your ass over a six foot chain link fence and think no one is going to find that suspicious...

And the two officers killed were Deputy Sheriff Vernon "Matt" Williams, 39 and his K-9 partner Diogi, a German shepherd.

Some stupid woman reported shoved a microphone in the face of the sherriff departments spokeperson's face and asked how the man's wife was feeling. The cop should have went ahead and slugged her like he wanted to because that has to be the stupidest thing to ask ever.... but the reporters are focusing on her because today is also her birthday.

I might've chuckled at that, if I didn't know the cop who was killed personally, that is. :mad
