The truth is I'm not much of a drinker at all, and when I am, it's distilled. But since I abhor the human race, and parties are basically an excuse for people to drink and gossip, and then go fuck, I don't think I'm missing much.

Such cynicism in one so young...thats sad.

All I can say is if that is indeed your experience, then perhaps , it was more of a reflection of those around you. Since most of the parties I've been to have been to just have some fun, either that or to celebrate some special occasion, like a birthday, for example.

In fact I have been invited to a birthday party this saturday, and I'm damn well going to enjoy it.

The person in question has her own bar in the back garden, so there shall indeed be many people making merry.

heh.

As for not drinking, well, thats cool, if its not your thing, then its not your thing, everyone is different. I actually don't drink that much, I drink mainly for the pleasure of it, (because I like the taste), not to get steaming blind drunk.

When I was your age (man I can't believe I just said that), I didn't really like beer all that much either, but tastes change, mature.

Now theres nothing I like more when I come from work in the evening than to have a nice cold beer, (has to be ice cold, can't stand warm beer :yuck ), and some Tortillas.

I also like to have good bottle of Red too , now and then. :D

One of the best feelings in the world is to come in from mowing the lawn in late summer, and crack open an ice cold lager or pale ale.

Its the most refreshing thing ever.

Cerveza is good, especially with Mexican food.

And yes, and I am 100% Mexican.

Corona is okay, but I prefer "Modelo Negro." It is the best beer we wetbacks make.

I'm sad to say that I have never had that nor heard of it. I'll have to go find some now. I'm suprised i've never had that since i've lived within my little mexican community pretty much my whole life.

Cervesa is so-so.

Modelo Negro is pretty good, but I've had better dark beers. Irish stouts, and German Schwartzbiers are both better, IMO.

Grab some Murphy's or some Kohstriker's
