I remember there being another thread which touched on this issue a while back, so I thought I'd ask again: how many of you make it a point to hide your involvement in (SW-based) roleplaying forums from your significant others ?

There is no hiding it. You think you can. Then all of a sudden they found an x-wing magazine under your bed. Or the more frightening/embarassing scenario of them walking into the bathroom while you're playing with the action figures.
Just live-up to it! DON'T DENY THE SW GEEK IN YOU!

I've never hidden it.. in fact I think I was still an admin when me and him hooked up so he'd hear rants about what ever was currently the major aggravation :b
plus, it nets me Star Wars toys that he knows I like it

I keep everything online separate from my significant other; she doesn't go online, she doesn't understand online, and I do not wish to enlighten her as to online, nor take the time and effort to do it... it is just simpler this way.
Besides, I don't go online when she's around, anyway.
If she asks, then I mention it, but I don't go into detail. She wouldn't fit this type of environment, anyway, as she cannot construct a comprehensible sentence, let alone Role-Play.

Omnae, doesn't that translate into "interesting"?
I kept it hidden from all my previous girlfriends, but my current one knew about it before I was going out with her. But she also doesn't really understand TRF/my SW obsession or care about it, she just lives with it as long as I'm not going on TRF rather than hanging out with her or whatever. I guess the difference was how long I knew each of them/time spent with them/how much we really told each other about none obvious things or whatever.
