I haven't read any of this thread and I don't know how relevant this JJ Abrams proposal is. All I can say is that after the way he took sexual advantage of a tender Star Trek franchise worries me. I worry that he'll sneak up behind the sleeping Star Wars franchise and insert his epeen without consent thus forever ruining another Sci-Fi franchise (I secretly think he's a hard line Catholic secretly setting out to sabotage science fiction).
