If someone could explain to me what I need to do to get the music online, I will.

I downloaded a program that I thought was supposed to be for converting files to mp3s but I don't get how to use it. The songs wind up being like 25 mb.

And I don't have any way to host them if I ever figure that out.

I suggest;

Cakewalk
Pro Tools (which you can get free from www.digidesign.com in the links at the bottom)
or Cubase

Get a mic, plug in, read the instructions, and away you go.

Easier said than done however.

I have plenty of hosting space, give me a shout if you ever need a bit.
