do you think it'll be as good as the originals?

well it's got Spielberg and Lucas back togethr to work on it, and they'd be silly not to pull out all the stops getting a good director and screenwriters since it's to be the last in the series... unless they successfully introduce a replacement for Indiana that audiences like, say a son or grandson, something like that...

As for the originals, first movie was awesome, second movie sucked at everything but Shortround (After all these years I still want to know what happened with him), and the third one was completely killer. Connery is supposed to be back with a cameo for the fourth as well. I am sad though that the actor that played Indy's museum buddy died IRL and we won't get to see his character again.

I think that the first trilogy was classic and that they should have left it as it was. Lucas should move onto creating new franchises instead of always tinkering with the old

I dont' know, I loved the Young Indiana Jones series when I could catch it on. They moved it around from network to network so much it was hard to keep track of. It was interesting to see how Henry Jones became Professor Jones. Also, it showed Indy as an old man. I especially liked the eye patch, so I wouldn't be surprised to see that they show how that happens in the final movie.

Ya he finally decided on the script a few months ago and signed Connery. But they are still sketchy with details about Harrison Ford returning, they're are many rumors it might be his son and that at the start Dr. Jones had just died. Who knows though..

Too old. Two old, even. Too, two old men.

If I have to watch Harrison Ford do one more... shuffle, and call it a run or watch Sean Connery... attempt another "love scene" I swear to god, I'll shot someone in the head. A newbie, probably.

"Okay Harrison, what I want you to do is drag your geriatric ass over to stage left and have a heart attack, think you can manage that?"

"Oh, Sean? No, I think I'll just leave him standing in the corner having a seizure. Besides, I don't think we have enough makeup to hide his and your liverspots."

Meanwhile, Lucas and Speilberg are thanking god they opted for the whole behind the scenes life style.

But hey, I'm not saying that America shouldn't throw billions of dollars at the thing. Long Live The Franchise!
