So Boston wins a world series and Peyton Manning doesn't choke in the playoffs.

Put your money on the Leafs to win the cup.

Rex Grossman just gave what could possibly be the WORST performance for a quarterback in Super Bowl history.

He cost his team the game, and wasted a heroic effort from his defense.

If he ever quarterbacks anything other than a pick-up game again, it will be disgraceful.

A heroic effort from his defense my ass! The defense couldn't get off the field! Rex didn't have time to do anything and was hurried. The rain didn't help, and it would have been nice if the offensive line had given Rex more time. You can't blame everything on Rex.

That's what everyone does. The team loses so blame the quarterback. You can't blame the quarterback for everything.

Oh, and he's going to be the starter again next year so I expect him to improve. You don't get rid of a QB that gets you to the super bowl even despite his ups and downs. You just don't.

rex had lots of time, he just made shitty reads. It's not his fault that his defense played like shit, but he still couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat, and the only time he ever spotted and hit the open man, it was a Colts defender.

The Bears run game was also pretty horrid. It should have been able to make first downs in and of itself, but failed to all day. On the other hand, the Colts worked an excellent short game with tight ends and running backs.

Rex sucked yes. You can't really disagree with that.

At the same time his defence did not do that well either. Like the colts got 190 yards rushing. That's not really a good defensive effort. I'm a colts fan I know all about bad defense.

Yeah, I felt sorry for the Bears defenders. They were doing a good job of keeping it close until they started getting tired.

And I agree with Brutus and Ahnk. I am surprised they didn't put a second string quarter back in there just to see if shaking things up would produce better results. It may not have changed his defense much but it may have added to a few more connected passes.

As a Colts fan Marth who do you think won the MVP Award?

The Colts are all about screen passes. Dallas Clark is the best tight end in the league only because he's left unguarded by secondary because they have to double cover Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison, and sometimes Joseph Addai otherwise they will have explosive thirty and more yard passes. So the Colts have adapted a great short game, tossing it to the running back and the tight ends and the move the chains that way.

Exactly.

Are you asking who I think deserved to win Ahnk because that would be Rex Grossman. The Bears had no chance of winning if he didnt have at least a decent game. The game basically was on his shoulders in the 4th when he threw those picks. If he'd completed them it would've been a whole different game. Without his performance the colts wouldn't have won.

In all seriousness I think Peyton deserved to win MVP. He didnt have an amazing game but he did enough to win, he was consistent and he kept it going. Rhodes and Addai both had a big game, but Peyton just did his job and except for a bit at the beginning he didnt make mistakes.
