Count on Gue to directly paste in tables and crap... ;)
Welcome to TRF.
We don't try to not be overrun by Jedi, per say, that's just how it's balanced out over time. I like it though, it lets the active Jedi stand out more, and promotes stories that don't rely entirely upon everyone being capable of doing the superman to get out of wedgies and sworilies.
Our timeline is approximately thirty years after ROTJ, with changes. Simon should post a link to the timeline-in-progress once he moves it into the public, that'll give you a better idea of the status of things. Most importantly is that we have taken the events of the NJO up to the attack of Coruscant. After that, the Vong were turned back and repelled.
No, no problems with people coming over and sticking with people that they know. We have very few restrictions on characters and what types can be used. Basically, keep it real and reasonable, or get laughed off of the board. :p
We are a tad restrictive on Force Users though. Any of your Force Sensitive members should read our FAQ on the Force on TRF.
We don't have a lot of people (probably about thirty who visit twice a week or more), but our writing is defiantly not teeny-bopper. Many of our members put out writing that, in my opinion, is on par or above that of many professional writers.
We're always glad to see a new face. Welcome to TRF. :)
