I heard Napoleon Dynamite sucked, but it was funny as hell.

I mean, at least according to my friends, it had NO plot, but it was really funny.

Well then, no need to see the film eh? Just go with what your friends tell you. Actual self-discovery can be so taxing.

It can when it requires not being a lazy son of a bitch.

Finally saw Garden State today and I absolutely loved it, for some reason just the way it was filmed reminded me of Eternal Sunshine so it made me even more happy. But yes, it was pure genius I'm going to have to watch it a couple more times. As for Napoleon Dynamite is probably my favorite movie of 2004, it has no plot but it kept me in tears the entire time, the first time I watched it. If you haven't had the chance yet, watch the wedding scene after the credits on the DVD.
