Game progress and a call for help

Ok.

So so far, one person besides myself has played what I have for the game so far, Ahnk. Since he has RPG Maker 2003, I just had to send him the game folder and he used the RPG Maker program to play it. And according to him, the game sucks so far.

Now this didn't surprise me. I'm only one person, many times before I've proven to be uncreative in the extreem and I can't write a dialogue to save my life.

It appears the problems with the game so far fall into three large categories: One is that it isn't too fun to play so far, which is because I havn't developed the combat system and that sort of thing much yet. I will once all the events and levels and things are set up, so I'm not too concerned yet.

The second is story quality. Now, I have an excellent plot, but I can't write dialogue. Given time, I hope making this game will improve those skills and then I can go back and rewrite dialogue I find lacking. However, what would help is if anyone who has or knows a lot about characters in the New Coalition, The New Order, The Jedi Order, or the New Sith Order (Although any factions' members are welcome), could come here and post a personality description of their character and any others they could think of. Because frankly, I don't know enough about people like - for example - Chau Ming, to write realistic reactions and dialogue for them.

The last, and most difficult obstacle to the game are graphics. Mine suck. They're made in MS Paint for crying out loud. This is an example of a character art "Clip"

Simply put, I suck at making graphics. I have no idea how to solve this particular problem, beyond saying if anyone wants to chip in with character graphics of their own they should feel free. I ask people not to be too critical when (and if) they play this game some day. I havn't got that much experience with this thing.

Anyways, so far the game is at least progressing fairly well. I've finished the first two "Levels" where you fight enemies, and I'm currently working on the first "Town", although technically its' not a town, but it fills that role in an RPG. Ahnk, if you see this, can you get on AIM? I'd like to talk to you to see if you could perhaps help me out by using YOUR copy of the RPG Maker program to make a game which could then be distributed. Thanks.

Oh, and if anyone wants to chip in for what they'd like me to include in the game, now is a good time to ask.

I want my other names (Read brutu, Rico) and my evil, diabolical, blow-up-anything-that-doesn't-move terrorist group in the game.
