Firefox does the vB WYSIWYG editor just fine, for me. (Note: I still don't use the WYSIWYG editor..)

The only prequsite for using Internet Explorer problem-free is not being an idiot. Not to mention that that image was, as I'm sure you all know, staged. Some of those toolbars you actually DO have to download to use. And some of them are quite useful... the Google toolbar is great.
The google toolbar comes free with a tracking cookie that lets google know exactly what you search for and when, even if you aren't using google at all.
Heck, even Google itself tracks you with cookies, even if you don't have the toolbar. Imagine the size of that database...
