I was a little wary of posting a cover right off the bat but as it turns out I am ridiculously slow with recording.

Originally I'd planned to pass this out to a few people over AIM so as to not overload that server but shit, let's see what happens, you never know.

Once I manage to get things recorded there'll be more. The next thing I post will definitely be original.

For those who haven't heard it before, the song is a cover of Matt Good's Fated, a B-side of the Beautiful Midnight era. Originally I think it was mostly acoustic, I haven't listened to the song in awhile. But the lead guitar is a wholly original addition, mostly just an improvisation.

Depends on how you measure it. On and off with varying seriousness for several years.

No, it's an mp3, any mp3 player works.

You have to download it if it doesn't start via your browser.

The recording quality is OK. Dunno what kind of comments you are looking for, but what really stuck out to me was my inability to seperate the guitars from eachother. A little stereo panning and maybe a tadd of EQ'ing would help with that.

Sounds good though.

Your singing was rather off key.
