I feel your pain. Here, nobody cares in the least unless you know a person playing (or cheering). There's too little game, too much half time, no food, and our bleachers are so old, they look like old ship wood (where the cheap orange-on-your-ass-four-washings-later paint is gone). That, and rival town Ferndale always kicks our asses. In my school, even the losers are more respected than the team.

I agree with Ahnk. I played Canadian High School Football and then played a game against an American Team on their feild. Sucked ass. All those rules. Though they have a few good rules but most of them arent as good rules.
And you don't need to worry about the Bears or the Panthers winning because the Colts are going to eventually win the super bowl.
And no I didn't jump on the bandwagon just because they went 13-0.

FAIR WEATHER FAN! :P
American football isn't all bad. College football is extremely exciting. And the NFL isn't bad.
I must say, I've never watched Canadian Football, but I would like to. On the subject, what is "The Rouge?"
I'm a soccer player myself, though I placekicked (and dabbled at tight end) for my high school team.

Rouge is when during either a kickoff, fieldgoal or punt the ball either goes through the endzone or the returner gets tackled in the end zone.
All for one point.
Personally I don't like it because I've lost games in which the field goal was too far so they just booted it through the endzone for one point and won.

LOL! Our coach had the oposite thing. "If you win you run miles. THe more you win, the more miles you have to do."
We only lost one game, the game before the last in which we played the only other first place team and lost by a stinking touchdown! We even had a touchdown pass, but right before it got into his hands it got intercepted...
Rose Bowl I believe, great game though. Vince Young is phenomenal! But, I really question USC 's decision to NOT PLAY THE HEISMAN WINNER on a 4th and 2 conversion... *sigh* I know White (their other RB) was having a good day, but come on, Heisman Trophy Winner ie. THE BEST PLAYER IN THE NCAA.
Anyways, I have never played football though I do plan to next year in high school - playing both DB and WR (not sure if I'll be on the corner or safety *shrugs*) Canadian Football though! I only really play hockey though... :)
Who said Football is harder to understand than Rugby, I've watched my school play some games and I don't know what the hell is going on :ohwell
That makes no sense whatsoever, Brant...
I know. But thats the what they did.
Hes saying your post doesnt make sense. Not what they were doing. Your comments are illogical.
