Now that you have a lawn, you need a shotgun with which to shoot kids off of said lawn. I hear you can do that in Texas, so you should take full advantage.

I can't shoot kids off my grass if I don't have grass. Haven't seen rain in a while and things are bone dry. Front yard is struggling but is grassy but the backyard? Under all those fallen leaves is.. dirt!

I need to put down grass squares! The house has both Central Air and window units.. the previous owners were weird. Some window units are pretty scary so if kids want to make off with those, they are welcome too.

You could push the units onto the kids as they walk under, that'll teach the little buggers to walk on your grass seeds.
