If aide is needed ask and I will see if my department can assemble an engine and head down. We can offer the following

-Fully trained Crew Probably 1 officer, 4 fireman, 1 firepolice officer
-Full compliment of rescue equipment
-700 gallon tank
-4 handlines
-1 deck gun
-2 main burst nozzles

Nah it won't be needed. The storm wasn't much of a threat due to it's fast speed and the dry air that weakened it. If it had retained it's pre-landfall strength, or had moved a lot slower, in other words, taken more time to pound the city, then it would have been a lot worse.

Probably the worse thing about Dennis were all the tornadoes, and the storm surge, which affected our entire Gulf Coast. In Tampa they were a few docks destroyed, and a few personal ships sunk, including a 40 foot pleasure yacht and a 60 foot house boat. Cedar Key and Yankeetown were also flooded, and they were over 100 miles from the storm, lol!.

Now we are watching Emily. So far it appears that she will also take a path similar to Dennis, and strengthen into a major hurricane as well.
