I got access to the SWTOR beta, which opened yesterday, but I don't have the time to install or play, so I'd like to pass it off to an old Star Wars nut here, if it will allow.

Let me know if anyone is interested. I do not know the duration of the testing period as I believe they grab people in batches to test different aspects of the game at different times.

I was invited to download the 20 gig of game, to beta test over the weekend. I didn't bother, as by the time I actually downloaded the thing, I would have had about... 5 hours left to try it out. And no download limit remaining.

I guess mine was a similar weekend deal, so I don't think it's available anymore. Sorry if I got your hopes up.

On a side note... is it just me or is 20 gigs for a game a bit ridiculous?

It's mostly the voice files. Every NPC is voiced, so that takes up a lot of audio space.
