I voted NDP. They won a lot of seats in the area of Hamilton...
I blame the rest of Canada that couldn't vote NDP.

i blame idiots like you who vote ndp and then get mad when the conservatives win. i'm really glad they did though. i'll bet the left in canada feels pretty dumb right now. way to split your votes three ways dipshits.

I can't vote yet (if only it had been 6 months later). However I would probably have voted Liberal.

Oh, I'm not 'upset' the conservatives got in. I saw it coming a mile a way. I vote for NDP because there's no CPC runner in my area.

EXACTLY!
Actually, I'm thinking when I get out of college or something, to run as the CPC member in my area if I can. I've always been interested in politics and it's not like I'll get elected. And then if my friends try to use that 'oh, you can't complain about stuff if you don't participate' I can laugh at them.

Whatever. Harper won a weak minority - the Liberals, in spite of Gomery, won 103 seats. Clearly Canada does not want a Conservative government. The CPC will not be able to pass any of their big ticket items, and in a year when we have another election Adscam will be fogotten and we'll have a Liberal majority.
The big downer for me is that Martin will resign leadership of the party: he seems pretty honest. I mean, he appointed Gomery to investigate Adscam... Chretien never would have done that.

The problem is I don't agree with some of the Liberal ideas. I may never get anywhere major, but heck, I'd rather be stuck in the mud with my ideals then moving along with something I don't agree with.
Same reason why Irtar is in GC and not TNO ;)
