DragonQuest - Proposition

Don't know how well this would go over here, let alone work out but here goes. I recently dug out my copy of DragonQuest from my closet and experienced a feeling of nostalgia. DragonQuest is a beginers boxed set version of Dungeons & Dragons with a board for a playing field, cards for equipment/monsters/equipment/spells and simplified rules.

I was wondering, if I set everything up for it, would anyone be willing to play via message board? I could GM, use my webcam to take pictures of the board setup and even try to setup my scanner to give images of the cards that people would have.

Well, I'm suggesting hosting a game of it on a message board, so setup would pretty much be on me and then its a post every day or so. Like Chess by email, slow by at an easy pace.

Never heard of Dragonquest, when my friends introduced me to D&D, they basically dove me straight into the game, with dire consequences for them. But I'm up for it. ;)

Never played it but if it's slow and at an easy pace, I'll bite.

Okay, Ill leave this step open for a while to see if anyone else wants to jump in... but those who want to play, time to pick a character. We can either do Custom or pick from the premade...
