But only for a few people...

A car, even something as hideous as an Aztec, is better than no car. Sam if you don't want it I'll take it. And a battered Aztec is better than a new one cause then if someone asks why it is so hideous you just say "I got in a couple accidents" not "I bought the worst looking vehicle ever made".
