4 out of 5.

A great film and a wonderful summer blockbuster, just a little too outlandish this time 'round.

Yeah, I agree. Extra-stupid stunts really turn me off to a film. I enjoyed Dead Men's Chest quite a bit as a popcorn flick though.

Too outlandish for my liking as well; based on the ending, it looks like they'll be a Pirates of the Carribean III.

Yeah starring all the same, but with Chow Yun Fat. It comes out the 25th of May next year. I was okay with everything until the SPOILERS -----

-- until the chest was actually opened and there was a real heart. All I could say was "Really? Is that for real?" and then some guy in front of me shushed me. That's what blew it for me, but as I said a good blockbuster.

They filmed 40% of Pirates III when they did Pirates II.

That doesn't surprise me, considering how the new Star Wars Trilogy and the LOTR were filmed.

Did anyone else see the clip after the ridiculously long credits?

*Spoiler*

Remember the dog that led the cannibals away from the Black Pearl when she was aground on the beach? The last clip shows the dog being their "god-king", on their throne, like Captain Jack was previously.

The clip from Pirates I was of the monkey stealing a piece of gold, which is why it's an undead monkey now.
