Clincher's an awesome song, and I enjoy Vitamin R too, but my favourite sog by Chevelle is always gonna be Comfortable Liar.

I'm not a huge fan of Weezer, either. They are not terrible, but they're not one of my favourites either.

They seem to play unremarkable, inoffensive college rock, that, while not bad, isn't great either.

And here is where we finally disagree on something. I love Weezer. "Only In Dreams" is orgasmic.

Chevelle... I don't really know them? I think maybe I heard a song once with 'red' in the title, but it was pretty unremarkable? Could be wrong.

Yes The Red wasn't one of their better songs, but the other stuff on the album The Red was good stuff.

Yeah, that must be the sign of a good band, releasing something and then having your label go under.

Chevelle is derivitive and oversimplified trash. It's completely unsuprising that you like them, Kas.

Sign of a bad parent-company, that is.

The Red wasn't a bad song, I also liked One Lonely Visitor from their first album.

Try Pinkerton, their 2nd album, if you haven't already.

OMFG please marry me. If I could only listen to one song for the rest of my life, I'm pretty sure it would be Only In Dreams.

As far as Weezer goes, The Blue Album (their 1st) and Pinkerton (their 2nd) are fucking great, Maladroit is OK, and the rest is blegh.

Make Believe is decent after a few listens. But just decent...

Pinkerton was an swesome album, I think the best by Weezer; as far as Only in Dreams goes I could listen to that all night and day long.
