Your Gold Community has been chosen to appear in the Community Showcase and it should be up on our homepage shortly.
There are certain benefits that will arise from having your ezboard in our showcase including an increase in your number of users and recognition right on our home page (http://www.ezboard.com). Be aware that you may also gain the attention of unwanted visitors, but ezboard is committed to making every effort to ensure that your month on our homepage is smooth and successful. In return for this opportunity, we ask the following of you and your fellow administrators and moderators:
1) Keep your board clean! Keep profanity to a minimum (use the profanity filter), and take steps to ensure that its content is suitable for users of all ages and backgrounds.
2) Watch your board carefully. You may want to empower more administrators and moderators to handle the increased quantity of posts.
3) You can expect a lot of users to post links to their own boards on your board. You might consider creating a forum for this purpose in order to keep them all in one place.
4) Contact us immediately if you are having trouble with problem users. We will take steps to keep your board secure.
5) Remember that Membership By Approval (MBA) strict mode is not allowed during the duration of your showcase residency. If you must turn it on to post, make sure it is still viewable for everyone(uncheck the additional box under MBA).
