Also... I need you guys to reccomend some good games for me. I think I'm gonna be picking up Gears of War, most likely Madden 08, probably Elder Scrolls Oblivion since I've never played it, and... maybe Forza Motorsports 2? I heard Rainbow Six Vegas was good too..

I need suggestions though.

He took it away to my parent's hometown, which is about 3 hours away, one of the many 'Port towns' lining the lower portion of SA.

I got:

- Rainbow Six Vegas: Very nice, good 1st person shooter.
- Gears of War: A great grind fest with chainsaw bayonets - 'nuff said!
- Oblivion: An excellent, top shelf RPG (shame about no multiplayer).
- Tenchu Z: A decent ninja/stealth game, which is even more fun online with friends (mostly for ninja enthusiasts, however - like myself).
- Ghost Recon 2 (GRAW 2): A fun shooter with realistic settings and fun online play.
- Superman Returns: Just cause I enjoy flying around lifting trucks up, heh.
- Call of Duty 2: Didn’t get into it, didn’t really play it (since I had the above list), but the one game I played online was alright.

Hope that helps. Also keep your eye out for Assassin’s Creed… it’s going to be kickass – in stores November 1st.

Cool, thanks Vance. Ya, some of my friends from WoW were talking about how awesome Assassin's Creed is gonna be. I watched the trailer and it looks pretty sick. I might have to check out Superman Returns as well, I never even thought of it mainly because every other Superman game they've come out with has been just plain bad.

Yeah, you get all of Metropolis to fly around, and the island city is pretty big. And there's a bunch of stuff to do, and when you get bored it's always fun to start destroying the city instead...

I quite often use the level 3 super breath and send a tornado down main street, thus sending cars and all manner of city debris flying. ;)

Vance's new medal: Sniper Headshot x 3

(That being three headshot/kills within 4 seconds)

EDIT: Speaking of which, I'm going to upload the movie clip (If I am able, heh) so you can all see it. Head 'splodin' goodness!

I'm gonna get completely owned, because I'm gonna pretty much forego Campaign mode and jump right into Multiplayer on Halo. Thursday morning I'm gonna go grab my Xbox, not sure what other games I'm gonna get though as of yet. I think for now, I have it narrowed down to Halo 3, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, and Madden 08.

I was gonna get Gears of War too, but I'll probably wait a few weeks on that and just focus on Halo right off the bat.

For 360, I've got:

Splinter Cell: Double Agent - only played one level but I need to get back to finishing this.. I do like the SC series and have the others for Xbox.
Chrome Hounds - meh
Battlefield 2 - meh
Elder's Scrolls IV: Oblivion - awesome!
Gears of War - awesomeness!
Halo 3 - pwns

I've been wishy washy about Rainbow Six: Vegas (I do have two Rainbow Six titles for Xbox) and Lost Planet (I rented this and like it .. but not enough to spend $60 clams on it).

Ya I think I'll definitely go with those last 3, I'm not sure about Rainbow 6 either, I've heard it's really good but I don't think I'd get around to playing it until after I got bored with both Halo and Gears of War.

I tend to mix my online games up; all three (Halo 3, GoW and Vegas) are all completely different types of shooters, so they offer a nice variety for when I don't feel like one or the other.

I also enjoy Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (Graw 2), which is also fun. You should rent that, if you're looking for games that are a bit of alright.

Oh, and I sent out a file share to that film clip with the headshot triple kills.
