I've heard some great things about the new tv series. But I haven't had the oppertunity yet to watch any of them.

Fortunately for me (and anyone else out there like me), the Sci fi channel doesn't suck.

Namely, because they've put the entire first episode - uncut and commercial free - up on their website for free download.

As an added bonus, for those of you that don't want to install RealPlayer (which sucks), I've provided you with a handy dandy LINK to an alternative player. It's worked great for me so far - even support full screen theatre mode (QuickTime free doesn't - but there's an alternative for that, too!).

I don't know how long the video will be left up, so if you're interested, download it now!

I kept missing episodes early on, so I've stopped watching. I'll score a copy on DVD later in the year.

'Battlestar Galactica' coming to a close
LOS ANGELES (UPI) -- The Sci-Fi Channel's Peabody Award-winning and critically acclaimed series "Battlestar Gallactica" is coming to a close.

Although the show's ending was not officially announced until Friday, "Battlestar Galactica's" executive producers, Ron Moore and David Eick, said they began feeling several months ago the show was nearing its end, Zap2it.com reported.

"This is a decision that took some time to arrive at, and like all decisions this large, there were a number of questions we had internally and a creative agenda we wanted to serve. I think we all had to collectively decide when we wanted to be definitive about it. That time is now," Eick says.

Although Sci-Fi reportedly was not exactly thrilled with the idea of giving up the show, Moore said once he and Eick made their case, the network didn't stand in their way.

Ya I heard about this on the Howard Stern show. He loves Battlestar Galactica and is always talking about how it's one of the best shows on TV. I've never seen it though, never really had a desire to. I've never heard anything but good things about the show though. Maybe I'll have to check it out someday.

Isn't the actress who plays Starbuck pregnant?
