Yeah, but Ann took that to mean that no matter what, only two arabs can be checked. I'm sure that's not how it goes, the commissioner seems to suggest that only two can be checked on race alone.
Dolash: If it's government policy to fine airlines when more than two arabs are checked, do you really think they're going to be checking more than two arabs per flight? The amount of the fine isn't specified, but it wouldn't be trivial, I'm sure.
I betcha the government would fine any airline who checked any two people with no more evidence then they're both of a racial group. If the policy was they were only allowed to check two arabs even if they had a good reason, and that rule didn't apply to any other ethnic or religious group, then yes it'd be unfair.
