So I just started playing this FPS and, I've just gotta say, I've never had so much fun sucking so bad. But seriously, I want to up my Deaths to Kills ratio.

I've been searching high and low for a good Guide/Tip resource but I keep coming up blank. Anyone else "in the game"?

Never heard of this. Is it PC or a consol game? (Just purchased Rome Total War and am playing campaign. It's addicting.)

It's PC. But more then that... it's MMO and actually Published, Financed and Authorized by the American Armed Forces; Department of Defense and whatnot.

It's farking hot and its farking free.

Heh, speaking about Rome: Total War, I recently broke it out and started playing again. I have two campaigns running, one with Greece and one with Julii. The Julii one I had conquered the Gauls when the Britons, Germanians, and Thracians all attacked me at once. Briton is now eliminated, the Thracians sued for peace, and I'm finishing off Germania right now. :D

I'm also playing BF2 a lot now. I'm getting good at long range fire with the tanks. I was sitting on the southern shore of Wake Island shelling the American Artillery island and scoring kills with every other shot or so.

How many thoughts was that, Park? BF2, I have to assume, is Star Wars: Battlefront 2, which has no American Artillery to speak. Different reference?

Stay on track, this is a "Help Beff pwn AA" thread.

The game is free and it is sponsored by the Armed Forces

This isn't exactly a game where you can get good over night. It take's time and it takes a lot of practice (do the training missions, becuase those WILL help you a lot)

Some of the maps are eaiser than the others, but this is one game where true team work and skill come into play. It's impossible to win by being a one-man-army, you must work together or else the other team, which has that team work, will clean your clock

Just enjoy the game and keep playing, you'll grasp it after some time ;)

Thank's Kalshion!

I've grasped the Squad Tactics concept, I'm a veteran voice, Source gamer. That's not a problem, at least, not terribly.

I'm still having problems with target recognition and certian control keys, however; not to mention range finding (a very neat feature, I must say).

What I am looking for is a simple Guide with easy explanations of things like Honor and Rank etc.

So, hey... Wanna get a TRF "Americas Army" Clan going?

I think TRF should have a "Teh All Games Clan" thing goin' meself.
