Considering that one was part of the film franchise and another only part of an ongoing novella series of questionable-at-best content, I don't think that it's very likely we'll ever see Lucasarts pouring comparative funds in to any NJO-style project; unlikely in the extreme. Furthermore, I don't think George Lucas even knows what a 'Vong' is.

I think he should've gone with the Rogue Series, contrary to popular belief, the RS is still very popular, with a lot of fanfiction going about on the net (though not HERE naturally since our universe is different)

If he was to make a series (a live action series, not some stupid walt disney crap) then it would succeed.
