A New Album

...From Matt Good is forthcoming sometime this year. I know there are several Matt fans on this board (probably the biggest grouping I've ever seen) so I thought'd I'd make mention of this here. It's quite old, but there is a list of a few songs (purposely cut-off by him) that was on his website a few weeks ago. Also there has been an increase in images of him in the studio lately which makes me think it's almost done. Last year when he said he was started it he said he planned to do a two-disc album due out by around June 2007 which seems about on track to me.

NearFantastica has a better list with complete song titles gleamed from past blog titles and the like.

Also, YouTube has a few shots of him performing Black Helicopters, Airplanes, and In It For The Money.

Here's what we've gathered from it:
- Can't Get Shot in the Back if you Don't Run
- If I was a Tidal Wave
- Breath of a Nation
- She's in it for the Money
- Single Spark Explosion (possible lyrics on Flickr)
- Prost-Elite (possible lyrics on Flickr)
- Open Window
- Champions of Nothing
- 99% of Us is Failure
- Love Will Find You in the End (A Daniel Johnston cover.)
- __________e (May be Pete?)
- Moon Over Marin (A Dead Kennedys cover?)
- Metal Airplanes
- _________ Losers (Could be Natural Born Losers?)

We haven't quite figured them all out but a special thanks to "haircut-rabbit" for noticing that some titles are previous blog posts. As of now, we have a rough count of 16 new songs though it should be noted that this list is not the complete list

Bolded are the ones I've listened to and most of them are pretty good. I thought Metal Airplanes was sos so, but the recording was low quality so I'll wait until the album version.

Also, eagerly awaiting the new Radiohead album, which should be out in the summer or so.

I can't find any of those on YouTube for some reason.

Might have been taken down/expired; I watched them all in november of last year, so.

Look for the guy who posted Anti-Pop/Carmelina, look in his profile for most recent posts.

I found Metal Airplanes, but the others say it's copyright infringement or it's been removed by user.

I'm surprised Radiohead is making a new album, I thought Thom went solo with 'The Eraser' from last year. Which is a good album too.

Nah, that was just a side project. Their recent tour saw them playing a few songs off the new album to see how they played to a crowd. It sounds like a return to more guitar based songs with less electronica, which is either a good or bad thing depending.

I think if it's anything like OK Computer (guitar and piano are heavily favoured in that one I thnk) it will be awesome. Edit: Although The Bends had alot of guitar too.
