Well, I was trying to say that if someone makes a mistake or if there is a slight disagreement, one way to solve it is to reply to the thread with a correction, hopefully something reasonable enough that the other person can read it and say "Yeah, that isn't so unreasonable." it beats arguing in hypothetical solutions.
Be careful when doing that Dolash. Mainly, from my point of view, your corrections seem to inflict a maximum amount of damage upon the enemy while ships under you command either came back to life or were less heavily damaged than they were.
No, we don't wanna bash anyone. We're just getting tired of people re-writing our posts. If you see the line "Except it didn't happen that way", Beware!
My point is just that if everyone's arguing, then you'll never get anything done, but if you take a stab at it and post what you think could happen, then maybe by reading it the other poster(s) will decide it's not worth arguing or that it wasn't so bad anyways, and just move on.
oh, you mean kind of like we had been doing in the begining of the war...
Discussing posts and editing them so they were agreeable to all involved before moving on to the next... before any argument could be brought up by any other, and otherwise cuasing less drama and in fighting amongst the members of the board.
That would have been a good idea, I wonder who the trouble instigator was that put a stop to it.
Well if your post is full of godmoding, as Heir pretty much admitted his first one was for Wicked Be the Unbelievers and even if he didn't actually admit it and doesn't admit it, he didn't give Dolash a chance to respond, which is godmoding, then yeah it is pretty reasonable for someone you rewrite the portions that are against the rules. Or when someone completely ignores the technology on your ships (like ignoring the fact that Ion weapons don't affect the Dominators for two different reasons) then yeah its pretty reasonable to re-write the damages.
