In this landmark broadcast, Seth Vinda publicizes the creation of the New Republic. The thread marks an important juncture and opens up a good few possibilities for the sentients of the galaxy to whom it is addressed. I'm thinking Winston Churchill plus independance day, although I could be wrong about that. ;)
